Minecraft Saloon
I made the Minecraft Saloon thinking about a place that the modern cowboy would want to stop and park his horse at. You enter with ample seating all around and a dance floor front and centre on the main floor. You can get yourself a drink or two at the bar. Make sure to stop by the DJ booth to request a special tune. When you travel upstairs you’ll find a couple of pool tables and more elevated bar seating. You’ll also be able to peer down to the dance floor if you’d rather sit back and watch others dance.
The Modern Minecraft Saloon
When you are trying to think of different ideas of things to add to your city, a saloon is just one of many options. It comes from the old west, and its basically a pub or a bar. However back in the old west they would ride horses, and so my Saloon has places to tie up and leave your horse while your inside enjoying yourself. I’m not sure if they had dance floors back then, but this is a modern saloon and so mine has a dance floor and the dj booth. Feel free to re-create what I have made exactly or use it as inspiration for you to create your own saloon.
What makes a Saloon?
I don’t know what exactly makes a saloon, besides using a lot of wood. I think wood and horses and a dance floor where you blast country music is all you need. The rest is up to you! You don’t need to provide booth seating like I have but you should probably provide some form of seats and tables. Feel free to get creative around the elements you should have like the dance floor. They are always adding awesome new items to Minecraft that you can use to spice up your builds, but definitely check out my furniture ideas section.
Horsehair Saloon
I like to add the name of my buildings above them, and in this case Horsehair Saloon fit perfectly across the top. I love the name because it has all the elements of a western movie set. It doesn’t feel like you can get much more western that with that name.
